- Use plain English. Your contact form should be easy for visitors to understand and fill out – use words that are recognizable by everyone and spell them correctly so there’s no confusion about what the form asks for
- Be nice! You may not think this matters, but if someone has questions or concerns, they want to know that you’ll take the time to answer their messages and help them out. If someone has a question or concern and doesn’t hear back from you, they’ll probably assume that you don’t care
- Make it personal. Make sure to include your name (or at least the team at xyz) somewhere on your contact page in case people have questions or comments specific to you as the person in charge of this company; otherwise all communication will go through email
- Allow visitor feedback with open ended questions instead of yes/no questions.
